Hooten Young is bringing another Jack Carr collaboration to the shelf and this time, the whiskey is ten years old.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based whiskey and cigar brand has announced the Hooten Young x Jack Carr Warrior Select Bourbon, a 10-year-old, 107-proof bourbon developed in collaboration with retired Navy SEAL sniper and #1 New York Times bestselling author Jack Carr.
The timing is deliberate. The limited Batch No. 1 release arrives just ahead of the October 21, 2026 premiere of The Terminal List Season 2 on Prime Video, which returns with all eight episodes starring Chris Pratt as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece.
The bourbon is the latest chapter in Hooten Young’s partnership with Carr, following the highly sought-after Warrior Proof American Whiskey, a 16-year expression that was later featured on The Joe Rogan Experience.
This time around, the focus is a more traditional bourbon profile and a full decade in oak.
Ten Years, 12 Barrels, 1,500 Bottles
The Warrior Select Bourbon is built around a high-rye mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% barley malt.
The whiskey was distilled in Indiana and bottled by Manifest Distilling in Jacksonville, Florida. Batch No. 1 consists of just 12 barrels harvested on September 16, 2026, producing a strictly limited release of 1,500 bottles.
At 107 proof (53.5% ABV), the bourbon has enough proof to retain some weight and intensity while allowing its decade in oak to show through.
Hooten Young describes the whiskey as a mature bourbon built around patience and balance.
The tasting profile leans toward toasted hazelnut, dry hay, warm red apple, flaky pastry, and soft floral and herbal notes on the nose. On the palate, sweet bread and toasted marshmallow give way to a buttery texture, rye spice, vanilla, and a subtle mineral character that helps keep the richness in check.
The result, according to the brand, is a bourbon that balances sweetness, spice, and depth after ten years in oak.

The bourbon will be available online through Hooten Young and at select retailers in Florida, Texas, and Nevada. Pre-sale begins October 15, with shipping expected to begin in late October.
The release will ship to most U.S. states, with the brand noting that it is not available in Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, or Utah.
For bourbon drinkers, though, the more interesting question will ultimately be whether the ten-year-old whiskey delivers beyond the collaboration story.

A decade-aged, high-rye bourbon at 107 proof for $65.99 gives enthusiasts a pretty straightforward proposition. If the whiskey lives up to the tasting profile Hooten Young describes, this could be an approachable way into an older, higher-proof bourbon without pushing into collector-level pricing.
I’ll be interested to get a bottle in hand and see how that ten years in oak actually presents in the glass.
